1. To tell the story of Southern African Golf chronologically, exploring the events, personalities, and equipment used, and its impact upon World Golf
2. Research, preserve, protect and actively display the rich heritage of golf in Southern Africa
3. Honour and recognize past golfing heroes within Southern Africa including those denied recognition during the Apartheid and Colonial eras
4. Motivate young potential and talented golfers across the societal spectrum
5. Contribute to the regional social and cultural development
6. Raise funds for relevant charitable purposes
7. Create employment opportunities for the local disadvantaged communities
8. Assist in social upliftment and empowerment
9. Encourage wellness through the benefits of exercise and healthy eating habits
10. Build a legacy for Southern Africa golf
11. Enhance the regions tourism by acting as a tourist attraction and hosting international events
